Common use of PERIODIC VISUAL INSPECTIONS Clause in Contracts

PERIODIC VISUAL INSPECTIONS. The Concessionaire will carry out visual inspections to identify line sections showing high levels of surface contamination in conductors and chains of insulators. Inspections shall cover the entire length of the line and this shall be carried out at least once a year. OSINERGMIN has the power to witness inspections and request their repetition, if necessary, in order to verify the reported contamination level. The levels of conductor and insulator contamination will be classified as Low, Medium and High, pursuant to Table N ° 1. The procedure for these visual inspections is as follows: a) Inspections will be carried out by specialists in transmission lines, equipped with safety equipment, binoculars and a digital camera with date stamp. b) Inspections will be carried out only during the day, with the presence of sunlight, absence of rain, low humidity and no strong winds. c) The technician in charge of the inspection shall be located on the ground at a distance of 30 to 50 meters from the line axis; using binoculars, the technician will observe contamination accumulation on the surface of conductors and insulators in the three phases of the span. If necessary, he/she will carry out the inspection climbing up to the line structure. d) Particular attention must be paid to the installation points of spacers and dampers, in order to verify conductor condition at attachment points. e) According to Table 1, the technician will rate and record the conductor and insulator contamination level in the logbook. f) If contamination level is Medium High, the technician will take a photographic record. g) The steps indicated in (c) to (f) shall be repeated for each of the other spans of the inspected line until 100% of the sections to be inspected are completed. h) The Concessionaire will verify the contamination rating reports and group the sections by contamination levels of. If there are observations on the rating, reassign the correct rating by using the photograph or, if such is the case, a new field inspection will be carried out. Level Visual aspect Description Low Minimum contamination, there are no accumulation spikes Medium Visible contamination with small contamination spikes along the conductor High Visible contamination with large accumulation spikes Visual inspection reports will be submitted to OSINERGMIN.

PERIODIC VISUAL INSPECTIONS. The Concessionaire will carry out shall make visual inspections with the purpose to identify the line sections showing that present high levels of surface contamination in superficial pollution of conductors and chains of insulatorsinsulators strings. Inspections shall cover The inspections comprise all the entire length of the line and this shall should be carried out made at least once a year. OSINERGMIN has the power to witness be present in the inspections and request their repetitionrepeat, if necessary, in order with the purpose to verify the reported contamination pollution level. The pollution levels of conductor conductors and insulator contamination insulators will be classified qualified as Low, Medium and High, pursuant to applying the criteria indicated in Table N N° 12. The procedure for these to make visual inspections is as followsthe following: a) Inspections The inspections will be carried out made by specialists technicians specialist in transmission linestransmission, equipped with safety equipment, binoculars and a digital photographic camera with date stampdater. b) Inspections The inspections will be carried out only made during the day, with the presence of sunlightsolar light, absence of rain, low humidity moisture and no without strong windswind. c) The technician in charge of the inspection shall will be located on in the ground soil at a distance of between 30 to 50 meters from of the line axis; using binocularsbinoculars he shall observe the accumulation of pollution, the technician will observe contamination accumulation on in the surface of conductors and insulators in of the three phases of the spanvain. If necessary, he/she will carry out necessary he shall make the inspection climbing up with scaling to the line structurestructure of the line. d) Particular Special attention must should be paid to in the points of installation points of spacers and dampers, in order to verify conductor condition at attachment the status of the conductors in the fastening points. e) According to Using the criteria indicated in Table 1N° 2, the technician will rate shall qualify and record the conductor and insulator contamination level register in the logbooknotebook of inspections the pollution level of conductors and insulators. f) If contamination the pollution level is corresponds to the Medium Highor High level, the technician will shall take a photographic recordregistry. g) The steps indicated in (Literals c) to (f) shall be repeated ), will repeat for each one of the other spans of the inspected line line, until completing 100% of the sections to be inspected are completedinspect. h) The Concessionaire will shall verify the contamination rating reports of qualification of the pollution level and shall group the sections by contamination levels ofpollution levels. If there are observations on to the ratingqualification, he shall reassign the correct rating by using qualification through the photograph or, if such is the caseapplicable, a new field inspection will shall be carried outmade. Level Visual aspect Aspect Description Low Minimum contaminationpollution, there are no does not exist accumulation spikes points Medium Visible contamination pollution with presence of small contamination spikes accumulation points along the conductor High Visible contamination Pollution with large presence of great accumulation spikes Visual inspection points The reports of visual inspections will be submitted sent to the OSINERGMIN.

PERIODIC VISUAL INSPECTIONS. The Concessionaire will shall carry out visual inspections in order to identify the sections of the line sections showing that present high levels of surface contamination in pollution on conductors and chains of insulatorsinsulator strings. Inspections shall cover the entire length of the line and this shall be carried out at least once a yearas often as indicated in Chart No. OSINERGMIN has the power 1. More than 1500 masl Below 1500 masl Every 5 years Every 3 years The sections with conductors or insulators that have been pre-cleaned or have been replaced because of severe pollution shall be inspected every two years. XXXXXXXXXX is entitled to witness inspections and request their repetitionrepetition thereof, if necessary, in order to verify the reported contamination levelpollution level reported. The Pollution levels of conductor conductors and insulator contamination will be insulators are classified as Low, Medium and High, pursuant to Table N ° 1using the criteria provided in Chart No. 2. The procedure for these performing visual inspections is as follows: a) Inspections will shall be carried out conducted by specialists technicians specialized in transmission lines, equipped with safety equipment, binoculars and a digital camera with date stamp. b) Inspections will shall be carried out conducted only during the day, with in the presence of sunlight, absence of rainrainfall, low humidity and no strong windswind. c) The inspection technician in charge of the inspection shall will be located on the ground at a distance of 30 to 50 meters from the line axis; axis and by using binoculars, the technician binoculars will observe contamination the accumulation of pollution on the surface of conductors and insulators in of the three phases of the span. If necessary, he/she When necessary he will carry out perform the inspection climbing scaling up to the line structurestructure of the line. d) Particular Special attention must should be paid to put on the points of installation points of spacers and dampers, in order to verify conductor condition at check the status of conductors in the attachment points. e) According to Table 1Using the criteria provided in Chart No. 2, the technician will rate grade and record the conductor and insulator contamination level in the logbookinspections logbook the pollution level of conductors and insulators. f) If contamination the pollution level is corresponds to Medium Highor High levels, the technician will take a photographic record. g) The steps indicated listed in (paragraphs c) to (f) shall be repeated for each of the other line spans of the inspected line inspected, until completing 100% of the sections to be inspected are completedinspected. h) The Concessionaire will shall verify the contamination rating classification reports of pollution levels and will group the sections by contamination levels ofof pollution. If there are observations on comments to the ratingclassification, reassign the correct rating classification will be reassigned by using the photograph or, if such is the caseapplicable, a new further field inspection will be carried out. Level Visual aspect Description Low Minimum Minimal contamination, there are no accumulation spikes Medium Visible contamination with small contamination spikes along the conductor High Visible contamination with large accumulation spikes points Visual inspection reports will be submitted forwarded to OSINERGMIN.
