PERS Reporting of Uniform and Maintenance of Uniforms. A. For classic members as defined by CalPERS the monetary value reported to PERS as taxable income for the purchase and maintenance of uniforms shall be based on the total the cost of uniforms and maintenance divided by the number of employees that use these uniforms. The classifications below shall receive uniforms as determined by the Department.
