Maintenance of Uniforms. It shall be the responsibility of the bargaining unit member to maintain, in good working order, all uniform items and equipment and to be in proper uniform at all times when on duty or as otherwise required by the Chief of Police, or designee. Uniforms shall be worn and maintained according to the standards established by the Chief of Police and according to the Department rules and regulations subject to discipline. Failure to properly maintain uniforms and/or equipment may result in bargaining unit member discipline in addition to the bargaining unit member’s liability for reimbursement of payment to the Authority.
Maintenance of Uniforms. Excluding shirts, the Employer will collect, transport, launder, and clean furnished uniforms at no cost to the operator.

Maintenance of Uniforms. The District shall maintain an account to have the mechanics, maintenance, grounds, and custodial uniforms locally laundered. Employees will turn in all clothing worn the previous week on Friday. The cleaned clothing will be returned to the employee the following week. The District shall also pay for all uniforms replacements as necessary by damage and wear and tear. The District shall ensure that the full and complete cost of providing and maintaining uniforms is reported to CalPERS as part of the employee’s compensation package.
Maintenance of Uniforms. The maintenance, repair, cleaning, and laundering of uniform or required clothing shall be in accordance with Company policies and practices that may change from time to time but will be consistent with obligations under the Service Contract Act.
Maintenance of Uniforms. The Employer agrees to provide a cleaning/laundry allowance to employees to ensure that the uniforms consistently present a positive, professional image. Full-time employees shall receive a cleaning/laundry allowance in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100) annually payable at the end of each calendar quarter. Part-time employees working a minimum of one hundred twenty-five (125) hours per calendar quarter shall receive a cleaning/laundry allowance in the amount of forty dollars ($40) annually payable at the end of each calendar quarter. At the sole discretion of the Employer, the Employer may establish a process for the cleaning/laundering of employee’s uniforms. If such a process is established, the cleaning/laundry allowance shall discontinue. Biohazard contaminated uniforms will be professionally cleaned by the Employer in accordance with OSHA and/or other applicable standards and returned to the employee.
Maintenance of Uniforms. Said uniform clothing shall be maintained in accordance with division policy. No employee is authorized to wear or use uniform clothing that identifies them as an employee of the City except in the official performance of their duty.
