Common use of Personal Data Defined Clause in Contracts

Personal Data Defined. “Personal Data” means information related to any identified, or identifiable, person or legal entity, including without limitation HP, Customers, subcontractors and including the employees or customers of HP, Customers and subcontractors. “Personal Data” shall also mean any additional data deemed personal data by any applicable personal data protection law, regulation, or directive, which data is available to Supplier or to which Supplier has access: (i) in connection with this Agreement or any SOW issued pursuant to this Agreement; or, (ii) in the course of performing any services, including without limitation Support and Maintenance services, pursuant to this Agreement, a SOW, or a Customer order. This definition of “Personal Data” does not include Personal Data provided directly by Customer to Supplier when the Supplier is not acting on HP’s behalf under this Agreement.
