Common use of Place of performance of the services Clause in Contracts

Place of performance of the services. If additional work or other changes are required in the areas described above, an offer will be requested from the contractor. Upon negotiation of the offer, execution and receipt of the change order, the contractor shall commence performance of the work as specified. The contractor shall not commence the performance of additional work or other changes not covered by this contract without an executed change order issued by the Office of Purchasing. If the contractor performs additional work beyond the specific requirements of this contract without an executed change order, it shall be at his own risk. The County assumes no responsibility for any additional costs for work not specifically authorized by an executed change order.
