PLACEMENT OF MATERIALS AND REBUTTALS. 1. Employees shall sign and date all materials placed in the personnel file except documents submitted to Human Resources by the faculty member, documents already provided to the faculty member with a “cc: Personnel File”, or documents relating to routine administration of the file. If the employee refuses to sign and date the material, the material may be placed in the file after the refusal has been documented on the material and an annotated copy sent to the employee. 2. The faculty member shall have the right to include in this file a written response to any materials placed in the file; such response shall be attached to the material to which it refers. 3. The faculty member may include in the employee’s personnel file any material or information considered germane to that member's career.
