PLANT OPERATOR POSITION. The City has established the classification of Plant Operator. The position will be filled on an assignment basis rather than as a permanent reclassification. The salary for this position will be the equivalent of the Senior Maintenance Worker with assignment pay plus the appropriate certificate pay. The assignment will go into effect when the current individual receiving assignment pay has earned the three qualifying state certifications.
