Plant Seniority. Plant seniority shall mean the employee's length of service with the Company at a given plant. Company seniority shall mean the employee's total length of service with the Company.
Plant Seniority. The principle of plant seniority shall be recognized with respect to lay-off and recall of employees, subject to the following exceptions, terms, and conditions included in this Article. Employees who have been promoted to the position of supervisor and who are thereafter demoted from said position shall be deemed to have retained their plant seniority. A supervisor shall not retain their group seniority, nor shall they accrue plant seniority while occupying the position of supervisor.
Plant Seniority. Employees shall be laid off in accordance with the principle of plant seniority irrespective of the group in which they are employed.
Plant Seniority. Employees who have been laid off shall be recalled in accordance with the principle of plant seniority.
Plant Seniority. (1) An Employee shall, upon completion of the pro- bationary period, be entitled to plant seniority from the first day of the probationary period.
(2) The plant seniority date of each Employee in the bargaining unit as of the effective date of this Agreement shall be that date shown on the Company records, such date having been established in accordance with the terms of the previous agreements between the Company and the Union.
Plant Seniority. The total length of service from hire date into a bargaining unit represented position. A tiebreaker for employees with the same seniority date will be the last four digits of the social security number with the lowest being most senior. As the measure of an employee’s continuous length of service within the bargaining unit, or date of hire if prior to formation of the bargaining unit and granted by the parties at that time, it will apply with respect to promotions, demotions, layoffs, bidding, bumping and re-employment or recall. Plant Seniority remains continuous throughout approved leaves of absence.

The Company recognizes Plant seniority as the employee's length of continuous service from the last date of hire at the Plant, including service with NSA; for benefit accrual purposes only, the Company will recognize an employee's existing combined length of service from the last date of hire with NSA and other Southwire facilities.

Plant Seniority. Starting date into Local 1414H jurisdiction. Employee clock number will be used to determine the order of Plant Seniority for employees who start on the same day. The lower the clock number, the higher the seniority.
