Common use of Pole Clause in Contracts

Pole. The term “pole” refers to all SBC MISSOURI poles subject to the Pole Attachment Act and the provisions of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 codified as 47 U.S.C. §§ 251(b)(4) and 271(c)(2)(B)(iii). Except as the context otherwise requires, the term “pole” refers only to utility poles and anchors which are either owned or controlled by SBC MISSOURI and does not include cables and other telecommunications equipment attached to pole structures.
