Ports Available as UNEs. There are five types of Ports available as UNEs: 6.2.1 “Basic analog line side port” is a line side switch connection employed to provide basic residential and business type Exchange Service. 6.2.2 “ISDN BRI digital line side" port is a Basic Rate Interface (BRI) line side switch connection employed to provide ISDN Exchange Services. 6.2.3 “Coin line side port” is a line side switch connection employed to provide coin services. 6.2.4 “DS-1 digital trunk side port” is a trunk side switch connection employed to provide the equivalent of 24 analog incoming trunk ports.
