Postal Service. An employee who is placed on leave or suspended under this section may, within ten (10) calendar days after personal delivery or mailing to the employee of the order, appeal the order in writing through the Director of Human Resources to the Merit Board. Alternatively, the employee may file a written election with the Director of Human Resources waiving the employee's right to appeal to the Merit Board in favor of appeal to a Disability Review Arbitrator.
