Power Outages. 42.01 Whenever an employee’s work cannot be reasonably carried out during their regular working hours by reason of power outage, the Employer shall either provide temporary heat and light arrangements or allow the employee leave of absence without loss of pay and benefits during the duration of the power outage. This Article shall not apply if the employee fails or refuses to report for work unless advised by the immediate supervisor or his/her designate not to report for work.

A power failure or disruption may require that Equipment be reset or reconfigured prior to utilizing the Service. While Customer’s voice service may include a battery backup that provides a limited period of service in the event of a power outage, commercial power is necessary to provide uninterrupted service. Customer accepts and understands that Hosted Voice service will not allow calls to be placed or received, including calls to E911 assistance, in the event of a power outage and the battery power has been exhausted or is not functional.
Power Outages. In the event there is a power outage where you receive your Service, your Internet access may be interrupted until power is restored. If you receive your voice telephone service over the Internet (called “VoIP”) your telephone will not work and you will not be able to make emergency or “911” calls during the outage. However, if you have a battery backup for your VoIP equipment, you phone will continue to work, provided our network is still able to operate. 5.1.1 Upon an outage or limitation to the electricity supply to the Project and/or the Building, arising from an internal and/or external malfunction, such as a national or regional or local power outage of the Israel Electric Corporation or power outage in the internal electricity supply system of the Project and/or Building;
5.1.2 In any event, in which the Lessor believes there is imminent danger to person or property as a result of continued electricity supply to the Leased Property;
5.1.3 In any event, in which the Lessor’s engineer notifies of a vital need to cut off the supply to the Leased Property, and thus after it grants the Lessee early notice within a reasonable amount of time in advance, considering the circumstances.
5.2 In any event, in which the Lessor knows, for a reasonable time in advance, about such expected cut off and/or limitation of the electricity supply, it will notify the Lessee thereabout, and will bear no liability for any damage caused to the Lessee and/or the Leased Property and/or its content and/or the Lessee’s property due to discontinuations and/or limitations as abovementioned.
5.3 Lessor will make reasonable efforts to promptly repair any malfunction or disruptions to the electricity supply to the Leased Property as defined in the Lease Agreement.

CHARGE NURSE / SENIOR NURSE In order to recognize the role of the General Duty Nurse relieving the Nurse-In-Charge, the Employer will provide an allowance to all Registered Nurses working in this capacity in the amount of $2.50 three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) per hour. The Employer shall designate a Relief Nurse In-Charge whenever the regularly assigned Nurse-In-Charge is not working such that there is always a Nurse In Charge at each clinic.
