Common use of PPACA Emergency Clause in Contracts

PPACA Emergency. Services shall mean services provided by the emergency department of a Hospital, including a medical screening examination, and also including ancillary services routinely available to the emergency department to evaluate such condition, and such further medical examination and treatment to stabilize the Covered Person as are within the capabilities of the staff and facilities available at the hospital.
