Common use of Pre-Existing Disease Waiting Period Clause in Contracts

Pre-Existing Disease Waiting Period. Pre-existing disease waiting period will be as mentioned in the policy schedule and as per plan opted. Any Pre-Existing Disease will not be covered until waiting period months (as mentioned in the policy schedule) of continuous coverage has elapsed for the Insured Person, since the inception of the first Policy with Us. This waiting period will be reduced by number of continuous preceding years of coverage of the insured person under previous health insurance policy by Us or any other health insurance plan with an Indian non-life insurer as per guidelines on portability issued by the insurance regulator
