PREDECESSOR EMPLOYER SERVICE. With respect to both the Hourly Records Method and the Elapsed Time Method, service with a Predecessor Employer, determined in the manner in which the rules of the Plan would have credited such service had the Participant earned such service under the terms of the Plan, must be included in Years of Service, as required by Code Section 414(a)(1) and Code Section 414(a)(2) or as selected in the Adoption Agreement. If the Employer maintains the plan of a Predecessor Employer, service with such Employer will be treated as service for the Employer.
PREDECESSOR EMPLOYER SERVICE. In addition to the Hours of Service credited when an Employer maintains the plan of a predecessor employer, Hours of Service with a predecessor employer will be credited for the following purposes where the Employer does not maintain the plan of a predecessor employer (select all that apply): Eligibility.
