Preference Requirements. Eligibilities 1. Employees are required to state a preference for duty assignments for which they are currently qualified at the same or higher level, even if they are in training for another stated preference. A ▇▇▇▇-up Clerk, Automated is not required to state a preference for non-Markup Clerk, Automated duty assignments. 2. Employees are not required to state a preference for duty assignments for which they are not cur- rently qualified or are at a lower level. 3. When stating preferences, employees must list all duty assignments for which they received training and are currently qualified ahead of any duty assignment for which there is no qualifying training. 4. While in training for a stated preference, em- ployees may not state a preference for any other duty assignment for which they are not currently qualified.
