Preferred Assignments in Staff Post Offices Grades 9 and Up. (a) Assignment of postal clerks to full-time continuous work assignments in the functions listed below, in staff post offices Grades 9 and up shall be in accordance with this article: (i) wicket/counter sections, including philatelic service; (ii) registration sections; (iii) directory service (iv) postage due - including collection and rating of short paid items; (v) special delivery, special letter, special occasion letter and C.O.D.
