Financial Interest Prohibited Engineer covenants and represents that Engineer, his/her/its officers, employees, agents, consultants and subcontractors will have no financial interest, direct or indirect, in the purchase or sale of any product, materials or equipment that will be recommended or required for the construction of the Project.
Conflicts of Interest Prohibited Conflicts of interest, including those arising from University or outside activities, are prohibited. Employees are responsible for resolving such conflicts of interest, working in conjunction with their supervisors and other University officials.
Ethics Matters; No Financial Interest Contractor and its employees, agents, representatives and subcontractors have read and understand University’s Conflicts of Interest Policy available at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/policy/policies/int160.html, University’s Standards of Conduct Guide available at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/systemcompliance/, and applicable state ethics laws and rules available at xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/xxx/xxxxxx. Disclosures; Prohibited Interests Independent of whether Consultant is required to file a Form 700, Consultant warrants and represents that it has disclosed to City any economic interests held by Consultant, or its employees or subcontractors who will be performing the Required Services, in any real property or project which is the subject of this Agreement. Consultant warrants and represents that it has not employed or retained any company or person, other than a bona fide employee or approved subcontractor working solely for Consultant, to solicit or secure this Agreement. Further, Consultant warrants and represents that it has not paid or agreed to pay any company or person, other than a bona fide employee or approved subcontractor working solely for Consultant, any fee, commission, percentage, brokerage fee, gift or other consideration contingent upon or resulting from the award or making of this Agreement. Consultant further warrants and represents that no officer or employee of City, has any interest, whether contractual, non-contractual, financial or otherwise, in this transaction, the proceeds hereof, or in the business of Consultant or Consultant’s subcontractors. Consultant further agrees to notify City in the event any such interest is discovered whether or not such interest is prohibited by law or this Agreement. For breach or violation of any of these warranties, City shall have the right to rescind this Agreement without liability.
Invoicing for Charges Against the Judicial Council’s Master Account A. The Contractor shall establish a Master Account for the Judicial Council’s charges provided for under the exhibits of this Agreement.
Enforcement of Certain Federal Firearms Laws Prohibited In accordance with House Bill 957, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2.101 is applicable to Contractor, Contractor certifies that it is not ineligible to receive state grant funds pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 2.103.
