Common use of Preparation of Budget Clause in Contracts

Preparation of Budget. No later than one hundred twenty (120) days before the start of each Operating Year, ISO shall prepare and submit to the Budget & Finance Subcommittee for comment a proposed budget for the upcoming Operating Year. The budget shall contain separate sections for ISO’s (a) operating expenses, (b) proposed capital expenses, if any, and (c) other extraordinary nonrecurring expenses, if any. To the extent that any proposed capital or other extraordinary expenses involve commitments which extend beyond the next Operating Year, the budget shall contain the projected expenses, including carrying charges for the length of the project.
