Common use of Principle Clause in Contracts

Principle. The Corporation and the Union recognize the need for constructive and meaningful consultation on any issue of mutual interest covered in this collective agreement. They also recognize that consultation may involve an exchange of information, research and consideration of each party’s views and opinions, as well as discussions. They agree that consultation does not imply reaching an agreement nor does it interfere with the parties’ rights under this collective agreement.
