Common use of Principles and Objects Clause in Contracts

Principles and Objects. It is their intention to achieve the principle object in paragraph 3(m) of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, which is to respect and value the diversity of the work force by helping to prevent and eliminate discrimination at their enterprise on the basis of race, colour, sex, sexual preference, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, family responsibilities, pregnancy, religion, political opinion, national extraction or social origin.
