Common use of Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition Clause in Contracts

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. ‌ Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx University operates an integrated PLAR office that handles both Campus and Open Learning Division programs, courses, and students. This Article applies only to Open Learning Division programs, courses, and students. This Article does not apply to PLAR work performed by Senior OLFMs. OLFMs will be invited to apply for PLAR work annually. Qualified applicants will be placed on a roster. The size of the roster will be determined annually by forecasting the need for this work. Qualified OLFMs will be given consideration for PLAR work; the Union acknowledges that at the sole discretion of the Employer, outside experts may be assigned PLAR work. The compensation rate will be the Exam Marking Fee rate in Appendix A.
