Probationary and Permanent Teachers. During any school year, probationary and permanent teachers shall be scheduled for not less than the number of hours to which each is entitled based on prior assignments. The hours to which a permanent or probationary teacher is entitled may be scheduled during the summer season and with the agreement of the teacher will be considered as a part of the total hours to which the teacher is entitled. Acceptance of summer hours under this section will not affect the teacher’s benefit coverage.
