Common use of Probationary Period for Transfer/Promotion Clause in Contracts

Probationary Period for Transfer/Promotion. An employee who has been transferred or promoted will be on probation in the new position for thirty (30) calendar days with a possible thirty (30) day extension by the supervisor. Employees who fail to meet the requirements of the new job will be transferred back to their former position.
