Procedure for Layoffs. The Employer shall determine within which classification(s) layoffs will occur. Within each classification affected, employees will be laid off in accordance with their seniority. Part-time and probationary employees shall be laid off before members of the Bargaining Unit. The employee(s) with the least seniority within the Bargaining Unit will be laid off first.
