PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION FEES. 19.1 Employees will be reimbursed (on presentation of official receipts) the membership fee of no more than one professional association per annum (the Dental Therapist Association) up to the maximum level of $250 if; a) the membership is directly relevant to the employee’s duties; and b) the professional association does not act as the acting union for its members. Where an association does become the acting union, it will be removed from the list. 19.2 Provided that, if the employee also works for another organisation or in private practice, the employer will only be required to pay the amount on a pro-rata basis.
