Association Activities. The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. No employee shall be interfered with, restrained, coerced, or discriminated against because of the exercise of such rights.

Association Activities. Except by the express agreement of the Employer, the performance of the duties of employees shall not be interrupted for the purpose of conducting any Association activities whatsoever, provided, however, that this provision shall not prevent the authorized representatives from having such reasonable contact with members of the Association as shall be necessary to ascertain that the terms of the agreement are being observed.

The Association and/or its representatives shall have the right to use the school facilities at reasonable hours for meetings, provided that advance approval has been obtained from the Superintendent or his/her designee at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled meeting. No charge shall be made for use of schoolrooms during school days from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Outside said hours, the District may make a charge for use of the facilities. The Board may also charge the Association for special custodial services when necessary, damages to District equipment, facilities, and other properties attributable to such use. B. The Association shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school property at all reasonable times, provided that it shall not interfere with, or interrupt normal operations. C. Bulletin boards and other established internal communications media shall be made available to the Association and its members. D. Association members shall have the right to distribute Association material to other Bargaining Unit Members as long as such distribution does not interfere in the normal operation of the work area of his/her job performance. E. The Association shall have the privilege of using school facilities and equipment, including typewriters, mimeographing machines, other duplicating equipment, calculating machines and audio-visual equipment at reasonable times (as determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee). The Association shall pay for the cost of all materials, supplies, and repairs incidental to such use. F. Whenever the President of the Association or his/her designee is mutually scheduled, during working hours, to participate in conferences, meetings or negotiations, he/she shall suffer no loss of pay. G. The Board agrees to provide the Association within five (5) days, in response to written requests to the Superintendent, with such public information as is available concerning the financial resources of the District and information related to the Bargaining Unit as may be necessary to assist the Association to bargain collectively with the school with respect to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. Association Activities. No employee shall engage in any Association internal problems not directly concerned with Association and City relations with any other employee during work hours. The Association agrees to conduct its routine Association business off the job, but this shall not prevent the proper conduct of grievances. Reasonable amounts of time spent in grievances with the employer during working hours on or off the premises will not be deducted from wages of the authorized employee Association representatives involved, however, all grievance meetings outside the third (3rd) step in the grievance procedure shall be handled outside of the regular working hours. It is further agreed that any such time spent in grievance resolution shall not result in overtime wages.
Association Activities. Section 1 Special conferences for important matters will be arranged between the Association president and the designated representative of the Employer upon request of either party. Such meetings will normally be between at least two (2) representatives of each of the parties, and will be held at mutually agreeable times and places, normally outside of participants scheduled working hours. Section 3 The Association will be permitted reasonable use of typing, duplicating and audio visual equipment which is not otherwise in use, provided the Association shall pay for the cost of all materials and supplies incidental to such use, shall be responsible for proper operation and care of all such equipment and shall immediately reimburse the District for reasonable costs for any damage to such equipment attributable to such use. Section 4 Any complaints to the administration by any parent, student or other person directed against a bargaining unit member shall be promptly called to that member's attention. Any such complaint not called to the attention of the bargaining unit member may not be used as the basis for disciplinary action against such member and shall not be placed in the member's personnel file. Section 5 Upon reasonable request by the Association, the District will either provide copies, or provide reasonable facilities for inspection and copying, of information concerning the District and the bargaining unit, including Form B, the budget, the auditor's report, the bargaining unit salaries and all financial and scheduling data relevant to bargaining.

Association Activities. The Board will not discriminate against any teacher with respect to wages, hours, fringe benefits, or other conditions of employment because of his/her membership in the Association or participation in any of its activities, including negotia- tions with the Board; nor shall the Board discriminate against any teacher because of his/her involvement in the processing of a grievance under Article 6, either as a grievant or as a witness.
Association Activities. 33.01 If scheduled to work, six (6) members delegated by the Association shall be granted leave with pay to attend the Police Association of Ontario Convention. Such leave shall be Sunday to Saturday inclusive. A maximum of five (5) scheduled work days shall be granted as time off with pay. 33.02 When the Police Association of Ontario Annual Meeting is held in the City of London, in addition to the delegates referred to in Item 33:01, three (3) members, as delegated by the Association, shall be granted leave with pay for the purpose of performing functions as designated by the Executive Board of Directors of the London Police Association for the duration of the said annual meeting. 33.03 If a member of the London Police Association is elected to the Board of Directors of the Police Association of Ontario, the member shall be granted leave, with pay, to attend all meetings required by virtue of the office the member holds. 33.04 Whenever the conditions of service permit, four (4) members of the Executive Board of Directors of the London Police Association shall be permitted sufficient time off duty, with pay, to attend Executive Board, Annual, Special, or General Meetings of the London Police Association. 33.05 Notwithstanding the provisions of Item 33:03, three (3) members delegated by the Association shall be granted leave with pay to attend quarterly meetings of the Police Association of Ontario. 33.06 The Association may request, in writing, a leave of absence for a member to enable such member to run the affairs of the Association. The terms and conditions of granting such request and of such leave of absence shall be negotiated by the Board and the Association and shall be the subject of a supplementary agreement. 33.07 Subject to the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the Association Bargaining Committee shall be composed of no more than five (5) members of the Association, one (1) of which will be the Administrator of the Association, for the purpose of bargaining with the Board for renewal of the Working Agreement.
