Common use of PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT. ‌ All faculty members shall be provided with a professional employment contract at the time of appointment or reappointment consistent with the terms and conditions of employment specified herein. Rights and benefits of individuals set forth in this agreement shall be incorporated into and made part of all individual professional employment contracts. In the event of conflict between the terms of such contract and the terms of this agreement, the latter shall be controlling. Unless an individual professional employment contract expressly provides otherwise, the contract term for tenurable faculty is the academic year. No tenured or tenurable individual has or shall acquire a right to employment for a term in excess of the academic year.
