Professional Engagement. 1.1. Owner engages Appraiser under the terms of this Agreement to perform or furnish the services more particularly described in Appendix A commencing on the date of this Agreement. 1.2. Appraiser may retain qualified subcontractors, including consulting appraisers and engineers, to assist in the performance of professional services. Before retaining any subcontractor, Appraiser will notify Owner in writing that it wishes to retain the subcontractor and include a copy of subcontractor’s qualifications.
