Common use of Professional Skill Clause in Contracts

Professional Skill. It is further mutually understood and agreed by and between the parties hereto that inasmuch as the Consultant represents to the City that the Consultant and its subcontractors, if any, are skilled in the profession and shall perform in accordance with the standards of said profession necessary to perform the services agreed to be done by it under this Agreement, the City relies upon the skill of the Consultant and any subcontractors to do and perform such services in a skillful manner and the Consultant agrees to thus perform the services and require the same of any subcontractors. Therefore, any acceptance of such services by the City shall not operate as a release of the Consultant or any subcontractors from said professional standards.
