Program Exits. Shelter Providers must provide the policy for program exits upon intake evidenced by a participant’s signature of acknowledgement, or documentation of participant’s refusal or inability to sign. Policies and procedures developed regarding participant guideline violations must include an escalation continuum incorporating warnings and staff/participant problem solving methods prior to instituting shelter exits. Shelter Providers must have policies and procedures for assessing, problem solving, and instituting participant exits from shelter.
