Program Opportunities. A. No teacher shall be required to work in programs which extend beyond the normal school day. However, teachers may volunteer to do so. When a vacancy in such work occurs, teachers currently employed in the District shall be given the opportunity to work in programs operating beyond the regular school day or year. The Superintendent shall post the title, qualifications, duties, requirements, and the salary. The Superintendent shall appoint the applicant most qualified for such work. If all qualifications of the applicants are equal then seniority in the District shall govern.
