Prohibition from Engaging in Outside Occupation. An employee who is absent from duty as the result of a non-industrial injury or illness and on paid sick leave shall not perform duties in any occupation outside of the City service. This requirement is intended to ensure that an absent employee is doing all that is necessary to facilitate complete and swift recovery from the injury or illness causing temporary and/or partial disability and absence from work.
