The South Australian River Xxxxxx Irrigation Efficiency element will be conducted through fair, transparent and competitive grant processes for the distribution of any funding to industry with robust governance arrangements and appeals processes. At least 50 per cent of water savings realised through the investment of public funds in this element will be returned to the State, to be consolidated and transferred by South Australia to the Commonwealth.
