Promotion Formula. A) On promotion promotion, a Permanent permanent employee shall receive a salary increase of eight percent (8%) applied to the hourly rate, subject to the minimum and maximum of the higher range. If the increase amounts to ten percent (10%) or less, the employee’s increment date shall not be changed. If the increase amounts to more than ten percent (10%), or when an employee promotes from the maximum rate of her previous range, a new increment date shall be established. Employees will earn increments in accordance with the increment provisions.
