Common use of Promotion Out of Scope Clause in Contracts

Promotion Out of Scope. Employees temporarily promoted or transferred to a position outside of the scope of this collective agreement may return to their substantive position within this bargaining unit. The opportunity under this clause, to return to the bargaining unit from a temporary assignment shall be limited up to twelve (12) months from the date they left the bargaining unit.
