Promotion to Corporal. A. Only those employees who have been certified as a law enforcement officer pursuant to Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, must meet the following requirements in order to be promoted to Corporal. 1. Two years or more of previous law enforcement experience. 2. Must have completed all training courses listed below and produce a certificate for each training course within the past two years. a. FDLE Online Classes i. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Interviews ii. Diabetic Emergency and Officer Response iii. Risk Protection Orders (RPO)
