PROPERTIES OF VEHICLE LENGTH DISTRIBUTION. We used the vehicle length distribution findings reported in Xxxx and Xxxxx (2003) to address the problem of obtaining speed estimates from single-loop data. Using data from a dual-loop detector (ES-163R: MMS T3) in lane 3 of southbound I-5 at NE 130th St. from May 3 to May 16, 1999, Xxxx and Xxxxx found that the vehicle length distribution was clearly bimodal, as illustrated in Figure 3-1. The bimodal distribution of vehicle length indicated that vehicles can be naturally divided into two classes, corresponding to the SV class and the LV class, according to their lengths. This vehicle length distribution feature was verified by Xxxx et al. (2003). Upon separation of the population into two groups at a length of 40 ft (12.2 m), Xxxx and Xxxxx (2003) regarded the two resulting sub-distributions representing the SV and LV groups as normally distributed.   • Treatment of Passthru Payments and Gross Proceeds The Parties are committed to work together, along with Partner Jurisdictions, to develop a practical and effective alternative approach to achieve the policy objectives of foreign passthru payment and gross proceeds withholding that minimizes burden.

  • CALCULATING THE AMOUNT OF LOSS OF REVENUES BY THE DISTRICT Subject to the provisions of Section 6.5, the amount to be paid by Applicant to compensate District for loss of Maintenance and Operations Revenue resulting from, or on account of, this Agreement for each year starting in the year of the Application Approval Date and ending on the Final Termination Date (as set out in Exhibit 5), the “M&O Amount” shall be determined in compliance with Applicable School Finance Law in effect for such year and according to the following formula:

  • Tax Credit for Contributions You may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your IRA contributions. This credit will be allowed in addition to any tax deduction that may apply, and may not exceed $1,000 in a given year. You may be eligible for this tax credit if you are • age 18 or older as of the close of the taxable year, • not a dependent of another taxpayer, and • not a full-time student. The credit is based upon your income (see chart below), and will range from 0 to 50 percent of eligible contributions. In order to determine the amount of your contributions, add all of the contributions made to your IRA and reduce these contributions by any distributions that you have taken during the testing period. The testing period begins two years prior to the year for which the credit is sought and ends on the tax return due date (including extensions) for the year for which the credit is sought.   • Application of Miscellaneous Proceeds upon Condemnation, Destruction, or Loss in Value of the Property In the event of a total taking, destruction, or loss in value of the Property, all of the Miscellaneous Proceeds will be applied to the sums secured by this Security Instrument, whether or not then due, with the excess, if any, paid to Borrower. In the event of a partial taking, destruction, or loss in value of the Property (each, a “Partial Devaluation”) where the fair market value of the Property immediately before the Partial Devaluation is equal to or greater than the amount of the sums secured by this Security Instrument immediately before the Partial Devaluation, a percentage of the Miscellaneous Proceeds will be applied to the sums secured by this Security Instrument unless Borrower and Lender otherwise agree in writing. The amount of the Miscellaneous Proceeds that will be so applied is determined by multiplying the total amount of the Miscellaneous Proceeds by a percentage calculated by taking (i) the total amount of the sums secured immediately before the Partial Devaluation, and dividing it by (ii) the fair market value of the Property immediately before the Partial Devaluation. Any balance of the Miscellaneous Proceeds will be paid to Borrower. In the event of a Partial Devaluation where the fair market value of the Property immediately before the Partial Devaluation is less than the amount of the sums secured immediately before the Partial Devaluation, all of the Miscellaneous Proceeds will be applied to the sums secured by this Security Instrument, whether or not the sums are then due, unless Borrower and Lender otherwise agree in writing.

  • Vehicle Condition and Return 3.1 Apollo will supply the Vehicle in a safe and road worthy condition, displaying a valid, current Certificate of Fitness and fitted with a number plate.

  • Acquisition of Property The Contractor shall document that all property was acquired consistent with its engineering, production planning, and property control operations.

  • COLLECTION OF COST-SHARE (a) The PHP agrees to collect from the beneficiary or the parents or guardian of the beneficiary only those amounts applicable to the patient’s cost-share (copayment) as defined in 32 CFR 199.4, and services and supplies which are not a benefit.

  • B8 Property B8.1 Where the Client issues Property free of charge to the Contractor such Property shall be and remain the property of the Client and the Contractor irrevocably licences the Client and its agents to enter upon any premises of the Contractor during normal business hours on reasonable notice to recover any such Property. The Contractor shall not in any circumstances have a lien or any other interest on the Property and the Contractor shall at all times possess the Property as fiduciary agent and bailee of the Client. The Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the title of the Client to the Property and the exclusion of any such lien or other interest are brought to the notice of all sub-contractors and other appropriate persons and shall, at the Client’s request, store the Property separately and ensure that it is clearly identifiable as belonging to the Client.

  • Additional Requirements from Authorized Users An Authorized User may have distinct requirements that must be met by all individuals employed by or working for the Authorized User. The Contractor’s Staff Members will be expected to comply with these requirements as a condition of the placement.

  • RENTAL APPLICATION The Tenant acknowledges that the Landlord has relied upon the rental application, a copy of which is attached hereto, as an inducement for entering into this agreement, and the Tenant warrants to the Landlord that the facts stated in the application are true to the best of Tenant’s knowledge. If any facts stated in the rental application prove to be untrue, the Landlord shall have the right to terminate the residency immediately and to collect from the Tenant any damages resulting therefrom.
