Protected address. If a voter’s address is marked on the precinct register as address-protected, follow special procedures established by the supervisor of elections to allow the voter to make and disclose current address and if necessary, make address change in a confidential and discreet manner. Each precinct must be provided with information which will enable the clerks to direct voters to the proper precinct on Election Day such as:  A county map showing precinct boundaries and polling place locations  A street index of the county with a polling place list  Any online source (other than through direct contact with the supervisor of elections’ office) that reliably and accurately provides information indicating where a voter should vote based on his or her address G. Name Change (Sections 101.045(2), Fla. Stat.) If the voter’s former name appears on the precinct register, instruct the voter to complete an affirmation or a voter registration application for a name change before continuing the Voter Check-in process.
