On Election Day the employee has fully executed his/her responsibilities as a Poll Worker and reported to his/her assigned polling place at the designated time, performing all the duties appointed by the County elections official and as required by applicable state and federal elections’ laws, and remained on duty until the poll was properly closed and secured and until released by the County elections official.

On Election Day full-time Employees and on-duty shift Employees are allowed a maximum of two (2) hours in which to vote. However, personnel are encouraged to vote prior to reporting to work.

Related to On Election Day

  • Election Day Employees shall be granted two (2) hours to vote on any election day only if, due to scheduling of work, they would not otherwise be able to vote.

  • ELECTION DAYS Work and travel will be arranged to allow employees the opportunity to vote on their own time on recognized state and federal election days unless they are given sufficient notice to enable time to obtain an absentee ballot.
