Protected Health Care Information. Agency hereby confirms that it is a “covered entity” for purposes of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended (HIPAA), and will comply with all applicable state and federal medical privacy laws, including but not limited to HIPAA and Sections 51.30, 146.816 and 146.82 of the Wisconsin Statutes, when applicable.

  • Protected Health Information “Protected Health Information” shall have the same meaning as the term “protected health information” in Section 160.103 and is limited to the information created or received by Contractor from or on behalf of County.
