Patient Information means information (however recorded) which—

The Employee acknowledges that the Company and its affiliates have a duty under law and by contract to keep Patient Information strictly confidential and that unauthorized use or disclosure of Patient Information may subject the Company and its affiliates to substantial fines, penalties and damages. The Employee shall comply with such policies and procedures relating to the protection of Patient Information and other Confidential Information as the Company and its affiliates may implement from time to time, and shall use reasonable care to avoid the inadvertent disclosure or dissemination of any Patient Information or other Confidential Information.
