Protection and Alarms. (a) The Contractor shall provide protection functions for pressure, flow, temperatures and speed for Generating Units as per Setting Values such as alarm and trip set points as recommended by Main Equipment Manufacturers and shall also be set in Governor PLC Cubicle as alarm and protection setting functions for safe and longtime operation of the Units. Electrical Protection functions shall be provided according to the “Protection and Relaying Functions” specified under Control, Protection and Alarm Section as well as the applicable international standards.
