Protection and Repair of Work. Contractor shall protect District's structures, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, and any other property on or adjacent to the Site against damage or loss caused by the performance of the Work. Contractor will provide adequate security measures for the Work and shall, until the Date of Completion of the Work, maintain such measures to protect its Work under this Facilities Lease from theft, defacement, or vandalism. Contractor shall repair or replace any damage and remove any damaged or defaced material and/or equipment from the Site at no cost to District prior to the Date of Completion, and Section 17 of these General Conditions shall apply to such material or equipment.
