PROTECTION OF MEMBERS. 17.7.01 Any case of physical assault upon a bargaining unit employee while in the course of his/her employ shall be promptly reported to the Board or its designated representative. Providing the employee was acting within the scope of his/her duties and authority and at the request of the employee involved, the Board will provide the appropriate support to advise the employee of his/her rights and obligations with respect to such assault.
