Common use of Protection of people and property Clause in Contracts

Protection of people and property. The Subcontractor must take all measures necessary to protect people and property, avoid unnecessary interference with the passage of people and vehicles, and prevent nuisance and unreasonable noise and disturbance. The Subcontractor must promptly rectify any damage to property that it causes or contributes to. If, after notice from Honeywell, the Subcontractor fails to comply with its obligations under this Section, Honeywell may engage others to perform the Subcontractor’s obligations and the cost thereby incurred by Honeywell will be a debt due and payable by the Subcontractor to Honeywell.
