Protection of Personnel. Before, during and after the demolition work the Contractor shall take immediate action to protect all personnel working in and around the demolition site.

Protection of Personnel. The Contractor and their Subcontractors shall take essential measures to prevent and address any forms of violence and harassment, bullying, intimidation, exploitation or abuse, including any form of gender-based violence, consisting of acts of sexual harassment, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, directed at a person or persons on the basis of their gender. the Contractor shall put in place an effective response mechanism for receiving and promptly addressing allegations of any forms of violence and harassment, bullying, intimidation, exploitation or abuse from the Contractor’s, Engineer’s and Employer’s Personnel or any other person including third parties. The Contractor’s Personnel shall be informed of such response mechanism at the time of engagement for the Contract and informed of the measures put in place to protect them against any reprisal for its use. For all other persons (including the Employer’s Personnel and affected communities), information about this mechanism, including how to submit an allegation or concern and also measures protecting against reprisal, shall be displayed in local and official Contract languages at entry points to the Site and other wise made available in locations easily accessible to them. As part of the response mechanism, the Contractor shall maintain and implement ethical and safe processes for investigating and addressing allegations. The Contractor shall provide appropriate training to relevant Contractor’s Personnel to administer the response mechanism. Any allegation received by the Contractor, including through its Subcontractors, the Employer or the Engineer shall be documented and promptly submitted to the Employer and the Engineer, and further included in reporting in accordance with Sub-Clause 4.21 [Progress Report]. While maintaining confidentiality of the person who experienced the alleged incident, as appropriate, the documentation and submission should include the type of alleged incident, gender and age of the person who experienced the alleged incident. Upon receipt of any allegation as described above, the Contractor shall immediately apply the response mechanism to review and address the allegation or concern.
Protection of Personnel. Management will take whatever action is necessary to protect employees who may be exposed to anyone who is exempt from or not subject to the vaccine mandate, or who may transmit COVID-19 regardless of vaccination status. This may include steps described elsewhere in this agreement such as permitting exempted employee and/or other employees to telework; providing regular testing at HUD’s expense to all affected employees; requiring unvaccinated employees to wear masks, remain socially distant, and take other steps to avoid transmission of the virus; and improving air flow in the office.

When no longer needed for construction, PROJECT MANAGER shall ensure that Hazardous Materials are removed from the Job Site. No Hazardous Material shall be disposed of or discarded in any means other than as prescribed in the applicable MSDS. No toxic or Hazardous Materials of any description will be placed in refuse disposal containers used for general construction debris. 3. PROJECT MANAGER shall promptly submit to Owner a written notice of any accident on the Job Site that results in personal injury requiring medical treatment or damage to property in excess of $500. PROJECT MANAGER will make available to Owner a copy of any accident report PROJECT MANAGER is required to file with any public agency or insurance carrier.

For all other persons (including the Client’s personnel and affected communities), information about this mechanism, including how to submit an allegation or concern and also measures protecting against reprisal, shall be displayed in local language as well as the ruling and communication languages of the Contract at entry points to the Site and other wise made available in locations easily accessible to them. As part of the response mechanism, the Consultant shall maintain and implement ethical and safe processes for investigating and addressing allegations. The Consultant shall provide appropriate training to the relevant Experts, Consultant’s personnel to administer the response mechanism.

Protection of Personnel. At no time is any depot employee to be put at risk to illness or injury. No construction actions are exempt from this requirement. 1. Where pedestrian and driver safety is endangered, use appropriate traffic barricades. Use anchor barricades to prevent displacement by wind. Notify the COR prior to beginning such work. 2. Where demolition is required, continuously evaluate the condition of the structure being demolished and take action to protect personnel working around the project site. No structural element will be left standing without sufficient support to prevent collapse. 3. Personal Protective Equipment for visitors: three complete sets of personal protective equipment shall be available to visitors for entry to the regulated area. Visitors shall be provided with training equivalent to that provided to Contractor employees in the use of Personal Protective Equipment and the site safety and health requirements. 4. Subcontractors are the responsibility of the Prime Contractor and must follow the same regulations the prime contractor does.
