Common use of PROTECTION OF WORK AND PROPERTY Clause in Contracts

PROTECTION OF WORK AND PROPERTY. Contractor shall continuously maintain adequate protection of his work and materials, protect the property on which the Project is to be constructed from injury or loss arising in connection with the Contract and adequately protect adjacent property as provided by law and Contract Documents. Contractor shall at all times conduct his work so as to assure the least possible obstruction to traffic and adjacent residents. The safety and the protection of persons and property of the general public and residents along the street, highway and areas adjacent to the work shall be provided for by Contractor.
