Common use of Provider Nondiscrimination Clause in Contracts

Provider Nondiscrimination. 9.2.1 The Contractor shall not discriminate, with respect to participation, reimbursement, or indemnification, against providers practicing within their licensed scope of practice solely on the basis of the type of license or certification they hold, however, the Contractor is free to establish criteria and/or standards for providers’ inclusion in a network of providers based on their specialties.
