Proving Intervals. Each meter shall be proven when initially placed into service. Subsequent provings shall be made every thirty (30) days, unless in accordance with the API MPMS, Chapter 54.8.2.10, the consistency of the meter factor allows the proving interval to be extended. The Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tracking of the meter factor may allow extension of the interval between provings to sixty (60) days with written approval of Buyer. The meter shall be proven as soon as possible after any meter maintenance is performed.
